Full-Time | Night Shift | Variable Days

A highly regarded healthcare facility in Florida is seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist I to join its Blood Bank team on the night shift. This role is ideal for experienced technologists or recent graduates looking to grow within a supportive and highly specialized laboratory setting.

As a valued member of the transfusion services team, you’ll be responsible for performing complex testing and supporting physicians in critical, life-saving therapies including organ and bone marrow transplants, coagulopathy management, and compatibility investigations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform blood group antigen testing, crossmatching, and antibody identification

  • Investigate transfusion reactions, hemolytic anemias, and hemolytic disease of the newborn

  • Support transplant compatibility testing for progenitor cells, bone marrow, and organs

  • Prepare and issue blood components with full documentation

  • Maintain accurate quality control records and perform preventive equipment maintenance

  • Utilize laboratory systems for data entry and result tracking

  • Collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure timely and safe patient care
