Job Title: Medical Technologist, Blood Bank (No MLT's)
Location: Arredondo, FL
We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Technologist to join our Blood Bank team in Arredondo, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples with a high level of accuracy
- Ensure proper handling and processing of blood products
- Provide timely and accurate test results for patient diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to quality control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by ASCP or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a blood bank setting
- Strong knowledge of blood banking procedures and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
