NC - Salisbury - Medical Technologist (Days, No MLT’s, 5+ Years Experience Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in Salisbury, NC. This position is a full-time day shift role where the technologist will be working independently, so a minimum of 5 years of experience is required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests, ensuring accurate and timely results, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking.

• Analyze and interpret test results with a high degree of accuracy.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.

• Document all results, observations, and quality control activities.

• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

• Work independently and manage workload efficiently.

• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist.

• Valid state licensure as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory operations and testing procedures.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Shift:

• Days (Weekend and holiday rotation may apply).
