Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Lab Technologist Generalist to join our team in Mount Dora, FL. This role requires a licensed and certified professional to perform laboratory tests and provide accurate results in the areas of microbiology, blood bank, and other laboratory disciplines. The successful candidate will have experience in all generalist laboratory areas and the ability to work independently while ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing in various disciplines, including microbiology, blood bank, hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis.

• Analyze and interpret laboratory test results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

• Adhere to laboratory safety and quality control procedures.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functional and calibrated.

• Work with the clinical team to ensure the timely and efficient processing of samples.

• Provide guidance to laboratory technicians and assist with training as needed.

• Follow protocols for patient confidentiality and data privacy.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including CAP, CLIA, and other relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Florida State License as a Clinical Lab Technologist.

• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT).

• Experience in Microbiology and Blood Bank required.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

• Nights only, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.

• Full-time position.
