TITLE: Medical Technologist
Location: Bluefield, WV

What they’re looking for:
• Associates or Bachelors degree from a Medical Laboratory Tech or Medical Lab Scientist.
• ASCP certification required.
• WV State Lab Tech licensure or the ability to attain it prior to hire.
Hours and compensation potential:
• The position is night shift
• The range is between for $50K-$70K depending on experience.
• The facility offers a full benefit package and will help with relocation/sign-on bonus.
What you’ll be doing:
• Performs laboratory analysis and quality control testing following clearly defined criteria
• Performs procedures in assigned section of the laboratory
• Maintains quality control in performance of procedures and responsible for maintenance and calibration
• Responsible for maintenance and calibration on equipment and maintaining cleanliness of work area.
Additional info:
• Position reports to the the Director of Laboratory.
• The facility is 300 beds and take care of around 13K patients each year with over 50K being treated in the emergency room.
