Description:
In cooperation with the department manager, the medical technologist instructs and performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
Responsibilities:
-Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.
-Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
-Performs quality control testing.
-Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.
-Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
-Demonstrate skill and accuracy in obtaining specimens for all age groups serviced.
-Observe safety, infection control, and risk management policies and procedures
-Participate in continuing education programs and related professional activities.
-Perform any duties necessary that improves the overall efficiency and quality of the department
-Monitor and control departmental supplies
-Show competency in performing all laboratory testing procedures.
Qualifications:
Associates in Medical Laboratory Technician or Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Sciences Required.
MLT or MT ASCP certification required. 1 year experience required.

The position is for a Generalist.
2 positions are available: One is a split day/eve shift(10:30am-7pm) Mon-Fri. One is a Night Shift(7pm-5am) Mon-Thu.
The position will offer pay commensurate with experience. MLT range is $16hr-$26hr and MT range is $18hr-$30hr. Shift diff is $1.75hr for evenings and $2.25hr for nights. Additional $$ on weekends as well. They also offer a full benefit package and relocation/sign-on package as well.
