Job Description
Ghost RX is looking for a qualified Medical Technologist to work at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Saginaw, MI.
Shift: 1st or 2nd available
REQUIREMENTS:
- ASCP or AMT certification as Medical Technologist or an equivalent MT, MLS, or CLS certification with appropriate training
- Minimum of 1 year experience
JOB DUTIES:
- Performs testing accurately, identifies methodology problems, and enters data as required
- Performs, resolves, and documents quality control to produce quality results
- Review of QC data in real time and troubleshoot outliers
- Perform calibration of all methods as needed according to instrument specifications
- Review of calibration results and determine acceptability
- Run QC and review results after instrument calibrations
- Generates incomplete worksheets for current bench assignment to document the status of missed or missing specimens
