Ghost RX is looking for a qualified Full-Time Medical Technologist to work as a civilian for the VA Southern Nevada HCS (Las Vegas VAMC)

Length of Assignment: Immediate - 09/30/2019 with the possibility to extend.

Qualification:

  • Must have current license, ASCP preferred, AND must have completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major study in subjects appropriate to Medical Technology.

Description:Medical Technologist positions performance include requirements to monitor quality control systems and measures; collaborate in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and provide education for laboratory/other healthcare professionals and others in the medical center setting.

Schedule:

  • (Swing Shift 1pm-1130pm/Night Shift 9pm-07:30am)This position will also be alternating weekends and holidays)

Requirements:

  • 1 year of Blood Bank Experience Required
  • BLS Certification Required
  • ASCP or AMT Certification as Medical Technologist. Other certifications outside of ASCP or AMT will not be accepted
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
