Job Description
Position: Nursing Education Manager
Travel: up to 20% of the time
Type: Full-Time (Perm)
Location: Sanford, NC 27330
Salary: $55,000 to $80,000, depending upon experience
Signing Bonus: Negotiable

- Description: We are seeking a compassionate RN to lead the Education Department. The NEM will work collaboratively with administrative and clinical personnel to identify the learning needs of both groups and individuals.
Must-Haves:
- Registered Nursing Licensure is required in North Carolina or compact state.
- 2-3 years hospital experience.
- Acute Care Experience
- AHA BLS
- AHA BLS instructor within 6 months of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS instructor within 6 months of hire.
Nice-to-Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Duties:
- Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs, in-services, and orientation for designated nursing and non-nursing personnel.
- Actively pursue new developments in education and training methodology and participate in activities which contribute to professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical personnel in identifying the learning needs of individuals and groups.
- Promote a climate for the employee that encourages learning and self-motivation through the application of principles of adult learning.
- Function as resource to members of the hospital community.
- Ability to serve as a resource person, consultant to nursing, medical staff, students and ancillary staff members.
