Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 1700.00
Directs and performs standard lab procedures for diagnosis and treatment of disease to include chemical microscopic bacteriological immunological hematological and coagulation studies. Operates equipment to make qualitative/quantitative analyses of specimens. Recognizes abnormal trends or results and makes required decisions and corrections. Performs in a teaching role as required. Assists with patient phlebotomy registration and order entry. Acts as in-charge tech when requested. Dress Code: red scrubs. Location: Albermarle, NC- Stanly Regional
Required Qualifications
MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP), Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or related field and Certification as a MT by a nationally recognized agency/board are required. 2+ years of MT experience in hospital setting is highly desired.
