Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)
StartDate: 11/04/2019Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 1700.00
HAVRE, MONTANA. 3+ years of experience. Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, under the direction of the Pathologist and Department Director, performs Phlebotomy on different age groups in a proficient and caring manner while maintaining adherence to OSHA Blood borne Pathogen Standards for Category I exposure level. MT or MLT has the ability to perform moderately complex CLIA tests and highly complex CLIA tests without supervision. Collects and prepares samples for analysis. Operates, calibrates and maintains clinical laboratory instrument or equipment. The applicant needs to be a Medical Technologist (preferred) or a Medical Laboratory Technician, with a national registry. The most common is ASCP, but AMT is also acceptable, they must meet Montana state licensure requirements. Required to possess Montana State licensure. Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is required.
