Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)
StartDate: 05/13/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $31.00 - 36.00
KAMUELA, HAWAII. START DATE: 5/13/2019 for 26 weeks. SHIFT: 06:00 to 23:00, rotating weekends and holidays. Must be flexible with operational needs. REQUIRED SKILLS: Generalist MT/MLT position - Must be able to perform Phlebotomy, Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Micro Prep and miscellaneous test kits in a Hospital setting. Prior experience with the following perferred: Immucor Echo Roche Cobas 6000 Sysmex XN-2000 Stago Compact, PFA SiemensAdvantus Cepheid - GenXpert. Medical Technologist - Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science and successful completion of an approved Medical Technology internship program, OR Medical Laboratory Technician - Associate degree from an accredited School of Clinical Laboratory Sciences and completion of an approved clinical laboratory internship. Certified as an MT/MLS or MLT by one of the National Commission of Health Certifying Agencies or by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health Laboratories Branch. State license as a Technologist or Technician. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form. Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team. Excellent customer service skills.
