Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)

Responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and quality assurance procedures, many of which are complex, involve steps and techniques, and require use of professional judgment. Tests may be performed in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, blood banking, urinalysis, serology, and coagulation. Professional application of principles, theories, and techniques of medical technology are used to produce reliable test results which aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
