Laboratory Supervisor
Seeking a fully certified, experienced Laboratory Supervisor
The Lab Supervisor must be able to supervise all department staff, including duties, responsibilities, schedules and other standard personnel issues.
Must also maintain specimen preparation procedures, develop and implement analytical procedures, report results according to protocols mandated by the hospital and public health department. Must maintain laboratory equipment, maintain quality standards, ensure staff compliance, certify instrument performance and arrange equipment replacement, service, and repair.
Must be prepared to work the bench and be able to perform any and all staff laboratory duties. Will order medical laboratory supplies, monitor staff workload and make operational adjustments. Maintain security and confidentiality.
