Location: Wayne County, GA

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 7-12-hour shifts over a 2-week period

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Technologist to join our team in Wayne County, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze laboratory specimens
• Perform quality control and quality assurance measures on laboratory tests
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Communicate laboratory test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Required- MT (ASCP) certification or MT classification as recognized by AMT, AAB, or HEW
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures
