Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist II, Repro, Endo, Pathology:
- Performs complex laboratory tests and procedures on blood and other body fluids, according to the guidelines of the department, preparing samples and reagents for testing. Follows the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient results.
- Participates in research, development, and implementation of laboratory procedures
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment and quality control for all reagents
Requirements for the Medical Technologist II, Repro, Endo, Pathology:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited medical laboratory sciences program
- ASCP Certification
- Two years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
- Must be comfortable in a busy, challenging, clinical laboratory environment
