NEW Laboratory Manager OR Lab Manager Opening at an Award Winning Hospital in Georgia!
This large hospital offers over 50 specialties and is a Magnet Designated hospital for nursing excellence worldwide. This hospital is also one of the premier teaching hospitals in the US and offers residency-training programs as well advanced training for nursing students.
This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time, experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee the Blood Bank section. The Lab Manager is responsible for general staff oversight on their shift, scheduling, and employee training and management.
For consideration, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology (or a related field) as well as previous experience as a laboratory supervisor or manager (preferably in a hospital setting) and experience in blood bank. In addition, applicants MUST have a certification as a MT or MLS or SBB or BB by the Board of Registry of ASCP.
