Clinical Laboratory Supervisor-Microbiology

*Full time and permanent day shift position*
Looking to join an award winning hospital setting laboratory in New York City? Our team is looking for an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to manage our microbiology department. It is a full time and permanent day shift position (9am-5:30pm) Mon-Fri.
Supervise the microbiology laboratory personnel in their routine assigned duties (analyzing bacteriological specimens); check daily for accuracy and timely reporting of finalized results; check, update and maintain instruments used in resulting specimens; review quality control and proficiency testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
NYS CLT license required
6 years of bench technologist experience required, 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
