New Laboratory Manager OR Lab Manager opening outside of Brunswick, Maine! This organization is known to manage and execute all aspects of diagnostic analyses thoroughly, accurately, and quickly. This facility is a state-of-the-art environment with a fully-integrated laboratory information system and computer network.

This is a permanent and full time position - primarily on day shift. The Laboratory Manager provides direction and oversight directly through supervisors or individual contributors for laboratory operations and human resources management, including reviewing all hiring and discipline recommendations. Oversees all technical direction and develops, monitors, and takes appropriate action to improve overall departmental performance to ensure that the operational and strategic goals are met. Lastly, the Laboratory Manager will be responsible for managing the budget for this laboratory.

For consideration, applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree (AS Degree candidates might be considered with extensive experience). In addition, applicants should have an ASCP (or equivalent) certification as MT, MLT, MLS, CLS, CHT or CHS. Lastly, applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as either a Lead, Supervisor or Manager (preferred).
