Job Description

CVT Tech needed in GA to join a Chest Pain Accredited Facility

Closed unit – NO FLOATING

This is in an Interventional Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms. We perform diagnostic & interventional cardiology, diagnostic & interventional peripheral, Diagnostic EP and Ablations, Devices. We have a 4-person call team consisting of 2-RNs and 2-CVTs for all after hours/holidays/weekends.

Each team member averages a total of 12 days of STEMI Call in a 6-week period and this includes weekends. The Cath Lab is closed on the weekends and on all major holidays.

Our Cardiologists are great to work with and Departmental & Administrative leadership is supportive of growing Cardiac Program. Cath Lab is quickly growing with # of PCIs increasing by 50% from 2016 to 2018.

We are located in Southeast Georgia about 40 miles north of Savannah, Georgia. We are a 1-hour drive from the beach and have a great public school system with strong athletic programs. Also multiple private school options and a variety of shopping available.

  • 149 beds
  • Interventional Cardiology with 2 Cath Labs and 1 IR Lab
  • Days with call – 10hr days Mon-Fri with a day off (40hrs/wk)
  • Call is only for emergent/urgent cases
  • Will consider new graduates from accredited school with CVT program
  • RT with training/experience in the Cath Lab/IR/Specials
  • Prefer 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab/IR/Specials
