Job Description

New Laboratory Supervisor or Lab Supervisor opening in Portland, Maine! This organization is known to manage and execute all aspects of diagnostic analyses thoroughly, accurately, and quickly. This facility is a state-of-the-art environment with a fully-integrated laboratory information system and computer network.

This is a permanent and full time position - primarily on evening shift (there might be some flexibility). The Laboratory Supervisor provides day to day supervision to the pre-analytic laboratory team for both operations and human resources management. Accountable for scheduling and work distribution. Provides technical direction, develops, monitors, and takes appropriate action to improve overall departmental quality, as outlined by performance standards. The Laboratory Supervisor might also be responsible for performing some benchwork when needed.

For consideration, applicants should have a High School Diploma (AS Degree preferred) as well as certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.
