This hospital offers a full range of services including emergency care, medical/surgical services, intensive care and neonatal intensive care (to name a few). This hospital is looking to add a permanent and full time Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist to their team! The Lead CLS is responsible for evaluating and implementing new tests, monitoring CAP survey performance and maintaining quality assurance and quality control for all testing procedures for the Chemistry section. For consideration. applicants must have a B.S. Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology (or a related field) in addition to a California State Clinical Laboratory Scientist License. Ideally, applicants will have at least 3-4 years of experience in a hospital based core laboratory or chemistry section. Lastly, applicants must have experience with validating new assays, writing procedures, overseeing quality control and being responsible for the technical aspects of the chemistry section.
