Job Description
Maintenance Tech
Full-Time
Assists in maintaining a safe, functional, clean and attractive physical environment for patient, guests, and employees. Performs, with minimal supervision, a variety of plant maintenance tasks under the direction of the EOC or Housekeeping Manager. Performs plan operations assessments, equipment testing, and documents as required. Performs safety and preventative maintenance inspections and documents as required. Responsible to maintain a clean, sanitary, and pleasing environment for patients, staff and guests. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and removing trash. Assures that toiletry and linen needs are replenished at all times. Inventories and orders cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensures, in conjunction with the plant operations department, a safe and risk-free environment within OSHA regulations and hospital standards.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
Experience: Previous maintenance and housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred.
License: Valid driver's license preferred.
Additional Requirements: May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
