Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Lead Clinical Lab Scientist for the Chemistry Department!
Details:
This Lead CLS is responsible for evaluating and implementing new tests, monitoring CAP survey performance, administering annual competency tests, and maintaining quality for all testing procedures for the Chemistry section of the Clinical Laboratory. In addition, the Lead CLS will assist the Laboratory Manager and the Medical Lab Director to select and evaluate new hematology analyzers and conduct annual test procedure reviews. The Lead CLS will report directly to the Lab Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Lab Sciences or related field
- One year hospital clinical training in an approved program
- Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
- At least 2 years recent working experience in the Chemistry section of the clinical laboratory
