Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Medical Technologist to supervise the Special Chemistry Department!

This Licensed Medical Technologist and Clinical Lab Specialist will supervise and oversee all technologists in the Special Chemistry Department. Must have the skills necessary to perform all the duties of a Medical Technologist III Lead

Essential Functions:

• Provide leadership and supervise/manage assigned department, make decisions, solve problems, develop procedures, and conduct and attend meetings
• Manage the employee hiring process including developing and updating job descriptions with HR
• Supervise and manage employee/team performance, orientation and training
• Perform all duties of a Medical Lab Technologist III Lead
• Manage ordering and inventory of supplies for the Chemistry department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Certified by ASCP as a Clinical Lab Specialist
• Must hold a valid TN Lab Supervisor License
• Over one year supervisory experience preferred
• Over six years of prior lab experience including over three years as a Medical Technologist III
