Job Description

Full-time Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Technician needed at a small hospital in northern New Hampshire!
(Reference Code: KAM)

Primary responsibilities involve the testing of body fluids and other specimen samples submitted to the Laboratory for analysis. Medical Technologist (ASCP, AMT or equivalent) or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT or equivalent). Medical Technologist must possess a Bachelor of Science degree that meets the academic requirements of the Board Registry or academic experience accepted by recognized accrediting agencies and is certified within one year of hire by either ASCP, AMT, ISCLT, HHS, or NCA in the Laboratory Technologist category. Medical Laboratory Technician must possess an Associate's degree that meets the academic requirements of the Board Registry or academic experience accepted by recognized accrediting agencies and is certified within one year of hire by either ASCP, AMT, ISCLT, HHS, or NCA in the Laboratory Technologist category. Generalist Technologist/Technician preferred. Computer literacy and Laboratory Information Systems experience desirable. A pleasant demeanor, good patient manner and the ability to communicate with patients is essential. Candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

This is a full-time day position (40 hours/week) requires minimal "on call". Rotates weekends and holidays, as needed.
