Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Senior Cytotechnologist!
Details:
The Senior Cytotechnologist will be joining a team of cytotechs and pathologists at a lab halfway between NYC and Philadelphia! This lab specializes in performing molecular diagnostic testing services, primarily for Women's Health.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Medical Director and team of pathlogists and cytotechnologists to process and screen gyn and non-gyn specimens
- Provide interpretation of the cases to the Supervising Cytotech and pathologits
- Perform fine needle aspirations to prepare biopsies and assess cellular adequacy
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and Certificate in Cytology
- 3-5 years experience
- Experience with ThinPrep Imaging System
- ASCP Board Certified as a Cytotechnologist
