Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Cytotechnologist!
Details:
Seeking a full-time cytotechnologist to join a lab that specializes in molecular diagnostic testing services, primarily for women's health.
Responsibilities:
- Performs specialized and complex testing that involves microscopic screening and evaluation of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens and provides interpretations to supervising techs and pathologists
- Performs thorough and accurate microscopic evaluation of cellular samples
- Performs fine needle aspiration to prepare biopsies and assess cellular adequacy
- Performs other similar or related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- ASCP Board Certification as a Cytotechnologist
- Experience with ThinPrep Imaging System
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Previous experience preferred
