Brand New Opening for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Technologist to join a team of Automated Laboratory Techs at this Nationally-Recognized organization.
Job Summary:
The Technologist is responsible for training of Automated Laboratory technologists on new methods/instruments, coordinating and documenting safety and quality assurance procedures carried out in the Automated Laboratory, and for participating in the development, maintenance and troubleshooting of methods/instruments. He/She is also responsible for the performance of all the duties of a Clinical Technologist IV as needed.
The Ideal Candidate: Has their Masters in Science in Clinical Chemistry, Chemistry or related science and at least 3 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience. OR BS in Medical Technology and at least 6 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience. OR BS in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry and at least 7 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience. Must be NYS Licensed or eligible for NYS licensure.
