Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Histotechnologist for a Day Shift position!!
Located in Central Georgia, this healthcare system has over 950 beds for medical, surgical, rehabilitation and hospice purposes, offer 50+ specialties in over 30 locations and hosts over 100 medical residents and fellows. The main hospital has 630+ beds, they are a nationally-verified Level I Trauma Center, and a hospital known for nursing excellence nationwide.
Job Summary:
- Collects and prepares specimens for testing procedures. Prepares specimens for testing procedures. Prepares microscopic slides from surgery and autopsy specimens for examinations under the supervision of a Clinical Histology Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of approved program in Histological Technique or equivalent. Two years college in Histology program. Certification as Histologic Tech by ASCP Board or equivalent.

- Day Shift - 7:30a-4p
