NEW Part Time, Evening Shift Clinical Laboratory Scientist OR CLS Opening at a well-established, not-for-profit hospital located in San Mateo! This 250-bed hospital boasts a full range of services including medical/surgical, obstetric, intensive care and neonatal intensive care as well as state of the art technology. This hospital has also recently been recognized as one of the top healthcare providers in the region by US News and World Report as well as one of America's Top Hospitals by Healthgrades. This is a permanent and part time Clinical Laboratory Scientist position - working approximately 20 hours a week. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs tests and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the procedures in two or more of the three general sections of the clinical laboratory which include Hematology, Chemistry, and Transfusion Services/ Blood Bank.

For consideration, applicants must have a Bachelor degree in clinical laboratory or related sciences with 1 yr hospital clinical training in an approved program. Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license. Additional Specialty licenses or ASCP Certification preferred. Two years of current working experience as a CLS preferred. Compensation package includes a highly competitive hourly rate and full benefits (!!).
