Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Clinical Laboratory Scientist!

This state-of-the-art laboratory provides services to inpatients and outpatients of the surrounding area. The lab is under directorship of a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. From the beginning, this facility has had a clear vision of what they must do to provide the medical community with laboratory services of the highest quality. Their vision is guided by their total quality commitment to offering their clients quick and accurate results.

Their laboratory is licensed by the State of California and certified by CLIA. They do extensive proficiency testing in each department of the laboratory through API.

The lab offers a wide range of testing capability from routine chemistry to esoteric procedures. They currently perform over 400 individual assays at the lab.

Position Qualifications:

California CLS License required with blood bank and microbiology experience. Performs and observes tests on patient specimens and correctly records results. Must be able to operate a variety of clinical laboratory equipment. Must be conscientious with regard to policies and procedures, has knowledge of federal and state regulations and is capable of working under pressures. must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skis and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, staff, and the general public. Basic computer skills required.
