Job Description
New Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Scientist OR Medical Laboratory Technician opening in Hawaii! This full service hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time Medical Technologist/MLS or MLT to work on either evening or night shift (with some flexibility). This is a generalist position so applicants must be willing to work in all clinical areas including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology and blood bank. Responsibilities include performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, maintaining quality-control standards, operating laboratory instrumentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related qualifying field
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Current Hawaii license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, or eligibility to obtain the applicable license
