A healthcare facility located near Mankato, MN is seeking a full-time Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join their team. Details are below!
Pay: $28.37 - $45.39 / Hour
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Job Details:
- Performs diagnostic laboratory procedures that provide timely and accurate test results for providers to use in appropriately diagnosing and treating patients
- Follows the Lab's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results
- Properly identifies and collects adequate specimens for laboratory testing via venipuncture, capillary collection, arterial collection (radial only), etc.
- Adheres to facility policies as well as federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Shows initiative and/or cooperation to maintain workflow, participates in teamwork, and is flexible with sharing training duties for new employees and MLT/MLS students
Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Requirements:
- Medical Laboratory Technician must be certified with one of the following: ASCP, HEW, HHS, ASMT.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel to other work sites as needed with own transportation
- BLS upon hire
