Job Description
A healthcare organization South of Atlanta, Georgia is looking for a Clinical Lab Supervisor with strong blood bank experience.
Position Highlights
- Oversee day-to-day clinical laboratory operations
- Provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to laboratory staff
- Ensure quality, regulatory, accreditation, and competency standards are met
- Coordinate staff training, orientation, and competency testing
- Monitor laboratory quality indicators and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other laboratory leaders across the organization
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or equivalent
- MLS (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification, or equivalent
- 3+ years of technical laboratory experience
- Blood bank experience required
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- 5+ years of blood bank experience preferred
- Familiarity with CAP and other laboratory regulatory requirements
