Job Description
A healthcare organization is looking for a PET Technologist for a full-time, first-shift opportunity in the Kettering, Ohio area.
Position Highlights

Full-time, first shift
-
Perform PET and PET/CT imaging procedures
-
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
-
Calculate, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
-
Operate PET and PET/CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
-
Process and reconstruct imaging data
-
Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment
-
Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards
-
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
What We’re Looking For
-
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent education required for state licensure
-
Clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine or PET imaging; accredited clinical internship experience may qualify
-
NMTCB certification or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
-
Ohio Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain within the required timeframe
-
Current BLS certification
-
Experience operating PET and PET/CT imaging equipment
-
Strong patient care and communication skills
-
Additional PET training, 1+ year of Nuclear Medicine experience, ARRT CT certification, and ACLS are preferred
