Night Shift | 40 Hours per Week | Permanent, Full-Time
Join a not-for-profit, acute care hospital recognized as one of Vermont’s Best Places to Work! The hospital provides a broad range of services, including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and emergency services.
We are seeking a permanent, full-time Hematology Technologist II / Hematology Specialist for the night shift. The successful candidate will initially train and work as a generalist and must be highly skilled in all areas of the laboratory, particularly Hematology and Chemistry.
After completing training, the technologist will transition into a Hematology Specialist role while continuing to provide coverage in other laboratory departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related health science field
- Current ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is required
- Strong experience and technical skills in Hematology and Chemistry
- Ability and willingness to work across all areas of the laboratory
- Prior generalist experience is strongly preferred
