A healthcare facility in the Mount Sterling area is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist to join its laboratory team. This role offers the chance to work in a patient-focused environment where quality, accuracy, and teamwork are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and analyze results
- Maintain quality control and laboratory standards
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of patient results
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to support patient care
Qualifications
- MLS, MT, or equivalent certification preferred
- Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Generalist experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
