Job Description
Cytotechnologist
Location: Kentucky
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday (no weekends or holidays)
Job Description:
- Perform cytology testing on patient samples
- Prepare and analyze slides under the microscope
- Document findings and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with pathologists and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to quality control and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field
- Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) by ASCP or equivalent
- Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
