NEW Laboratory Supervisor Opportunity – Microbiology/Molecular
Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Providence, RI Area

Position Overview:
The Laboratory Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the Microbiology and Molecular departments, ensuring high-quality testing, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day lab operations including testing and instrumentation
- Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff
- Oversee quality control, quality assurance, and safety programs
- Review test results and ensure accuracy and timely reporting
- Manage staff performance, provide coaching, and support development
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing, equipment, and compliance
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and documentation
Qualifications:
- BS in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- ASCP certification (MT or MLT) required
- Minimum 4+ years of microbiology bench experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented environment
