About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) to join a collaborative laboratory team within a well-established healthcare system. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests that support accurate physician diagnoses and patient treatment plans. The Clinical Lab Technologist will work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and reliable test results that support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and reliability before reporting findings
  • Follow established laboratory procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper specimen handling and processing
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support diagnostic and treatment decisions
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain laboratory standards
  • Assist with training new laboratory staff and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, CLIA standards, and other regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field
  • ASCP or equivalent laboratory certification preferred (or eligible to obtain within a designated timeframe)
  • Experience performing laboratory testing in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, procedures, and quality control processes
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
