NEW Permanent Laboratory Technologist Opportunity – Specialty Clinical Laboratory
A specialty clinical laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to join its team. This role focuses on immunology-based and ELISA testing in a fast-paced, quality-driven lab environment. DAY SHIFT!
Location: Ft Lauderdale, Florida
Responsibilities:
• Perform testing including IgG, IgE, Candida, and Celiac (Gliadin/tTG) assays, and ELISA-based testing
• Prepare specimens and reagents for analysis
• Perform pipetting with accuracy using micro-pipettors
• Conduct QC/QA activities and participate in proficiency testing
• Maintain logs, documentation, and inventory
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of specimens and hazardous materials
• Maintain lab equipment and work area cleanliness
• Support accessioning and occasional phlebotomy as needed
• Communicate with physicians regarding test results or methodologies
Requirements:
• B.S. in Medical Technology or related field
• 1–2 years of clinical or specialty lab experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory procedures
• Valid Medical Technologist license (Florida required)
• Basic computer and data entry skills
