NEW Medical Technologist Opportunity – Clinical Laboratory
Lexington, NC Area | Full-Time | Day Shift

A well-established clinical laboratory organization is seeking a Medical Technologist to join its team. This role is responsible for specimen processing, laboratory testing, and accurate reporting of results while supporting quality and operational efficiency in the lab.

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze patient specimens following laboratory protocols

• Perform clinical testing and accurately interpret and report results

• Maintain competency across standard laboratory procedures

• Identify and resolve issues that could affect test performance or reporting

• Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting

• Support QA/QC programs and ensure regulatory compliance

• Assist leadership with administrative tasks such as supply ordering and inventory management

• Maintain adherence to laboratory safety standards and compliance policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related scientific field

• ASCP or AMT certification required

• Continuing education to maintain certification

Preferred:

• 3+ years of clinical laboratory experience
