NEW Medical Technologist Opportunity – Full-Time

A respected healthcare organization near Lockport, NY is seeking a Medical Technologist to join their laboratory team. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role that focuses on accurate laboratory testing, quality control, and continuous improvement in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests accurately following standard procedures

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while understanding testing principles

• Analyze specimens and report results precisely; troubleshoot deviations using scientific methods

• Complete QC logs, preventive maintenance, and pending lists daily

• Assist with training and development of new personnel

• Recommend improvements to workflow, efficiency, and operational processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related scientific field

• Valid NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license

• Minimum 3 years generalist experience

• ASCP MT certification preferred
