Seeking an experienced Technical Lab Specialist in micro to support operational excellence, quality assurance, and technical oversight within a high-volume, 24/7 clinical laboratory serving inpatient and outpatient populations of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy across pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical lab processes

• Serve as subject matter expert within designated department

• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and operational issues

• Collaborate with Lab Leadership, Medical Director, Quality team, and IT/LIS

• Perform duties aligned with MLS/MLS Senior or Histotechnologist scope as assigned

• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Nevada Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Histotechnologist license (required at hire)

• Ability to obtain Nevada General Supervisor license

• MLS (ASCP), HTL (ASCP), or equivalent national certification required

• ASCP Specialist certification preferred

• Minimum 3 years Clinical Laboratory Science experience (5 preferred)
