What You’ll Do
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you’ll perform diagnostic testing and play a vital role in ensuring high-quality laboratory operations.

Perform testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, and other lab sections

Process specimens and ensure accurate and timely reporting of results

Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments

Perform quality control and support quality improvement initiatives

Assist with method validations and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Train new staff and support students during clinical rotations

May perform phlebotomy as needed

Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to support patient care
Schedule
-
Full-time (80 hours bi-weekly)

Varied shifts, primarily days

Includes rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
What You’ll Need:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related biological or chemical science with accredited clinical training consistent with CLIA high-complexity testing requirements.
Certification
National MLS certification (ASCP preferred) required within 6 months of hire.
Experience
Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
