NEW Laboratory Supervisor – Acute Care Lab
Sarasota, FL Area
Full-Time | Days (Rotating Weekends)
Join a large healthcare laboratory organization supporting acute care facilities. This role provides day-to-day leadership for laboratory operations, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance while supporting quality, service, and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise laboratory staff and assign shifts/work areas

Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards across lab operations

Monitor quality metrics and implement corrective action plans

Oversee resource utilization, staffing, and supplies
-
Coach, train, and develop laboratory staff
-
Assist with hiring and onboarding
Requirements
-
Associate’s degree in Science or Medical Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
-
Florida Supervisor License required
-
5+ years experience as a Medical Technologist
-
Prior supervisory experience required
-
Experience across multiple lab specialties preferred
