Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Technologist - DAY SHIFT

NEW Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Full-Time (Day Shift)
Location: Major Healthcare Facility in the Westchester County New York Area Salary range: $93k – $120k/year

We're seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join a well-established healthcare system in the region. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform a wide range of lab testing using manual and automated methods

• Follow all pre-analytic, analytic, and quality assurance procedures

• Maintain documentation for QC, calibrations, equipment verification, and maintenance

• Identify and report issues affecting test performance and follow corrective actions

• Communicate critical values within required timelines

• Participate in inspections, audits, and proficiency testing

• Support training, validations, and competency assessments

• Maintain inventory, CE requirements, and annual training compliance

Sections may include:

• General Lab (Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, etc.)

• Chemistry/Immunology

• Hematology

• Microbiology

• Blood Bank

• Anatomic Pathology

Requirements:

• Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (required)

• Education meeting NYS Office of Professions & CLIA standards

• ASCP certification preferred
