NEW Mobile Point of Care Lab Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm or 2:00pm–10:30pm
Pay: $24 – $29/hr

Overview:
A well-established mobile clinical diagnostics organization is seeking a reliable Point of Care Lab Technician to join their California team. This role involves performing waived laboratory testing in remote or mobile settings and ensuring accurate, high-quality patient results. A company van is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform waived testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation

• Conduct blood collections (venipuncture and capillary) as needed

• Maintain quality control and documentation of test results

• Enter and verify patient and order information in the LIS

• Operate and maintain mobile lab equipment and instrumentation

• Ensure proper inventory and compliance with state documentation requirements

• Troubleshoot technical or procedural issues in real time

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Previous laboratory and/or phlebotomy experience preferred

• Must meet state requirements for testing personnel

• California: Licensed Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required for waived testing

• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
