NEW Micro/Molecular Medical Technologist – 2nd Shift

Location: Providence, RI area
Department: Molecular / Microbiology
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hiring an ASCP-certified Medical Technologist for a 2nd shift role in the Molecular/Microbiology department of a respected clinical lab in the Providence area. This position offers a consistent evening schedule and excellent career growth.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM–11:30 PM

  • Rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct molecular/microbiology testing in accordance with lab protocols

  • Ensure accurate data reporting and maintain lab documentation

  • Perform instrument maintenance and quality control procedures

  • Communicate effectively with clinical and laboratory staff

Qualifications:

  • ASCP certification (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or similar

  • Experience in a clinical lab environment preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work evenings independently
